It's time once again for the annual Litty Family walk to benefit Alzheimer's Disease research and support. We will be walking on October 3rd, 2015 in Cary, NC in memory of our Dad, Richard C. Litty, who passed away on June 5, 2010, after a decade-long battle with the disease.
As many of you know, shortly after last year's walk, we also lost our Mom, Margaret F. Litty. While there were numerous factors, Alzheimer's disease also played a role in her rapid health decline over the last year of her life. Ironically enough, the day we would have otherwise been attending the walk, we needed to move my Mom into a dementia unit. Just 4 short weeks later, Mom passed away.
Any support would be greatly appreciated! You can donate in one of two ways:
If you would like to donate online, please click here - you can use a credit card or PayPal.

The money raised at the Alzheimer's Walk assists families that are coping with the disease, and supports research into possible cures for the disease. All money that you donate to Alzheimer's North Carolina, Inc. stays right here in eastern N.C. to help families and fund local research efforts being done through local universities. If you prefer, you can donate to your local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. There are chapters all over the country, including near each of the Litty brothers:
This is our 13th year supporting this great cause. Over the first 12 years, we have raised over $28,000 with your support! Below are some pictures of prior years at the walk.
